The faceless face

When looking at my face,
Nothing is found.

When looking at your face,
My face is found.

Your face is my face.
My face is your face.

Your face has no face.
My face has no face.

Janaka says:
how does the nothing's face look like?

hello charishma, thank you for your message. yes, it is a real discover to realize that we cannot see our face. but we know that we have a face. it means that it refers to a direct knowing, the same that the one concerning the being, we "know" what we are, but cannot "see" what we are. with kindest wishes and love.

Oh my! This is interesting, philosophical, mysterious and thought provoking, all rolled in one poem! It is a pleasure to meet you. Marion is a nice friend and person and I am so glad our paths have crossed. She's pointed me in the direction of this poem I told her that I love her blue eyes and hair. I have forgotten to tell her that I love individuals with a broad forehead and she has that too! When I looked at her face, I appreciated it and she says I am appreciating a part of my own beauty in her. WOW! Now she is really wise. I had not thought of it this way Well, your poem is certainly brilliant and makes me smile at myself, yet I cannot see my face without a mirror and the smile on it. LOL..

    Best,
    Charishma

hello hana, no, it is simply a remark coming from the fact that if i want to look at my face, without the help of a mirror, i can't. so for myself, there is no face because i cannot see it... i can only see the faces of others.
