My Dream?

Sitting in the meadow, watching clouds
I saw a bunny go by.
I saw him, he didn't see me.
I was surprised,
he was a color you don't normally see,
he was red.

The bunny climbed up a tree then
he sat in a bed which sat on a branch.
I wondered what was going on.
I saw six other beds there too,
in each bed was another bunny,
each a different color

There was a yellow one,
pink, blue and green.
The last two bunnies
were purple and orange!

The red bunny pick-up a little red
hammer (now he had hands?) and banged
it on top of one of the desks. (The beds had changed into
desks, it was all very confusing.)
In a high squeaky voice he said, " This
meeting of the United States of Easter Bunnies
is now opened."

Then, I noticed they all had a big bow
on their necks.  They discussed things
such as; candy to give, where to shop
for new bows.  They agreed the park had
the best clover for miles around. After
agreeing to meet again, they just disappeared.

Suddenly, I woke up.  I had fallen a sleep
in the park.  My mom was there, she said,
"Hey, sleepy head, did you have a good nap?"
I nodded my head and started to tell her about
my dream. Suddenly, behind Mommy stood the red bunny.
He placed his paw over his mouth, I knew then, this
was to be our secret. So I hugged my mom instead.
