Nestled in a tranquil valley
Tipi’s all around
Wind wisps through the canyons
Sun throws shadows on the ground…
Flames dance around in beauty
The moon lights up Father sky,
And all beneath on Mother Earth
Again can learn to cry….
The dome of the sacred Inipi,
Beacons to enter low
Entering the mothers womb
To be born again anew
Connection to Great Spirit
Within the darkest night
No one to break the magic
The trance alive tonight
Listen to the heartbeat
The drums again can sing
Rattles in the distance
A whole new world can bring
The gifts of the ancients
We remember in this way
Ancestors bring teachings
When we open up and pray.
