TRUE FRIENDSHIP
T rust is the basis of any relationship,
R ejection and fear, the killers.
U nderstanding first oneself, then others,
E nlightenment comes from within.
F reedom from judgment,
R ecognition of the truth,
I intensity of emotions,
E mbracing all of each other.
N o pretence on any level, nor
D efence or justification of
S elf-imposed standards of
H onesty and integrity. The
I mportance of the realisation that
P roblems are challenges for opportunities to be met.

I have recently been challenged on various levels and have gained enormous insight into the value of what makes up a true frienship. For this I am enormously grateful.

Thank you for your comment Jennifer. It is I who should be thanking you for the contest. So - "Thank you"!! I agree with you - friendship should be cherished. I value friendship above almost everything else. I know that friendship needs to be nurtured in order to be sustained, but even more so, if it is to grow (as with anything in nature).
Yes, I am a spiritual person. I am so very conscious of the spiritual in every area of my life. I cannot imagine living a life of any meaning without my spiritual side being expressed.
