Seasons
With Spring
I smell the blossoms
A scent sweetly serene
A hope of new found beauty
A gift from natures
Queen
Summer,
Brings us color
Vibrant hues abound
A fullness of the vineyard
the harvest moon
shines down.
Autumn
Is amazing as
the winds begin to dance,
Gusting over grassy plains
Lifting all
It grasps
Winter
Brings us beauty
Of a totally different hue
Mother natures bounty
Sparkles
Icy blue.
Birth
and Death
Surround us,
As seasons move along,
Listen to the Music
Of
Mother nature’s song…
Author notes
We are surrounded by miracles and beauty every day of our lives, the magic can however only be seen when you slow down enough to acknowledge and appreciate!

Thanks tanz...
I had fun with this one, about time I move away from pure erotica, and start ummm smelling the roses

You deserved this trophy over and over again. I loved this piece and it is stunning. You have captured the four seasons beautifully and I am amazed with this. I love the way you used all the senses.

And a well deserved prize it is too! One often wrties one's best when ideas flow naturally. Congratulations my love!

This was beautiful. A truly astounding piece. You described each season briefly and breathtakingly. Which is kinda what each season does, doesn't it? It comes and goes with such large amounts of splendor in such short amounts if time that it leaves you breathless. Great use of alliteration and rhythm. I really enjoyed this poem.

Beautiful
A beautiful piece this, my love. You have cleverly brought in four of the senses with the seasons and the fifth in what can be likened to a coda, pulling the whole work together. The elements of the fifth verse are cleverly introduced in the fourth. Here you move into a more spiritual realm.
