In that simple smile that lifts me so high
The one that seems to always bring me by
It's almost like that smile was given just for me
But I know you put it on your face for all the world to see
When you take that moment to smile it lights up the entire room
It takes away the darkness and suppresses every bit of gloom
Even when your smile isn't on your outward face
It shows from the inside all over the entire place
It's hard not to smile back when I see you standing there
Your contagious smile constantly lets others know you care
And even if you don't know the worth of your smile
Just knowing it's there makes it all worth while

isn't it weird when you hear the exact words you are thinking put in a slightly differnt way coming out of the mouth of a different person. i love this poem so much i totally agree. there's some people that even if you feel you hate them the moment they smile and you know it's real it turns your whole opinion of them around.

I know how it is when someone just always makes you smile, from afar or closeby....or even just the thought of that person or something they've once told you.
