Darkness fell
within my
cold heart
Until one
day, I
met you
The hands
of fate
pulled us close
You've thawed
my heart
to completeness
True love
and friendship
given to me
So now
I say
Thank you
I know
I'm not
alone anymore
I only
hope you
know the same
You have
made a special
spot in my
heart
Author notes
This is dedicated to Richard (lionheart). I know I haven't know you that long, but I do love you, and you are truly a blessing in my life. Thank you for always being there.

This is lovely and obviously straight from your heart. Sometimes we can love someone so easily that it takes our breath away.
Good job. Thank you for entering and good luck in the contest. Hugs, Patricia -
You may be feeling lonely; it may mean that you have a sense of balance in your life between being with others and being alone, and that you feel loved and cared about. By this it is so strong that, even if you are by yourself, you feel bonded to someone, that other poeple are there and will be there in spirit if not in person for you always. You may have "true" friends and close family and the security of having someone there for you when you need them at times when you need them most.

Awww this is so sweet. I really don't deserve a tribute like this but thank you. I am delighted to be your friend.
