When the Philistines captured the Ark, they placed it in front of their idol, Dagon. When they came back the next day, the idol was face down to the Ark. They put it back up, and the next day the idol was on the ground face down again. They put it back up and the next day, the idol was on the ground face down, with its head broken off. I dream of being better than God, but every time, I fall.
Phoenix Tears
because as a phoenix, i too have been reborn. i nearly ended my life one night, and i was saved by God, not mortal friends. i now look at this life and realize that i must do something like that many times. each time finding a fault in me and correcting in the start over. it hurts every time because in side it feels like i die. and some times i wish i do. i do not like this world. all the pain. . . mostly because i know most of it is better than i am. and that hurts. and as i am reborn a tear comes to my eye and i write.
