Poetry’s Pathways
There are many wonderful poets who contribute to the marvelously eclectic material posted on All Poetry. I do not have "family, favorites or friends" preferred to other participants here. I try to find someone new to read and enjoy whenever I log in. However, I do recommend the following for their scholarly approach to language arts, their skillful construction and for the intellectually and emotionally compelling content of their poetry:

There are poets of comparable skill and grace among the hundreds who post their poems here. And, of course, not every reader will find these poets appealing to his or her taste. I just particularly admire the talent and dedication to poetry exhibited by these writers.

We plunge into the sparkling, ever darkling, depths

A poet groaned and said to self,

Their grace I may admire but not begrudge:
The trees were never made for me to judge. -

Poetic expression is constrained by the language, history and culture from which it springs, but it is not confined by these. Poetry has traditions, but every inspiration is as unique as each human soul. Everyone experiences life as no one else does, or has, or ever will again. Each poet’s creativity is inspired th

The nature of humanity is to observe, wonder about what we see and imagine or try to discover what it means. We are wont to consider the vast array of evidence from which we might learn more about the nature of existence. As rational creatures we consider cause and effect, seeking logical solutions to life’s myster
