Who's Penz?
My name is Adrian and I'm a proud pinoy. Penz is my pen name, Penz comes from my surname lapiz which means pencil (although it is really spelled as lapis). And who knew the pencil can write on it's own.
The Poems?
I usually don't count lines or have any kind of pattern in my poems, I just rhyme mostly so I'm more contemporary. My poems are highly influenced by music and inspired by the events in my life.
Why Do This?
I never really liked writing until my grade school teacher asked us to write something about our country. She praised me and from then on I realized that this is something I'm good at and from then on, 10 years later, this is still what I'm doing. I don't do it for the money, I just do it because I love doing it and because I can
Anything else?
I have always been thankful for so many things like my family and friends. Here in AllPoetry i'm always thankful for my first AP family and sister Recluse Writer. Nuff said, just say hi to her from her dear monkey brother.
Besides poems?
I love to write when I have time but ever since I started working as a teacher, there's almost no time to write those long cheesy poems I used to write. I do find time playing lots of video games and of course, calling, texting and sharing moments with my loved one. Baby I love you! (still cheesy)
