Poetry seems to find itself inside me sometimes and just has a need to pop out. I like to close my eyes and let whatever is there inside that needs to come out just find it's place on the keyboard. Usually there is a trigger such as a divorce or falling in love.

Penderman on April 10, 2006I have written since I was a little kid. But does that really matter? As long as I write what is in my heart and express a feeling to others would it matter if it was my first day?
