Melodies on April 28, 2008We are a friendly community of poets who enjoy each other's company and give encouragement, especially to children. You have arrived and managed to be particularly cruel to my grand daughter who is only eight years old.
You are twenty-one and I wonder if you look for young poets to bully. In any case, calling anyone's poetry "shit" is not warranted, and most of us here have more advanced vocabulary from which to draw. Shame on you. Where did you learn manners? -

I do have something to say to you in regarding a poem you commented on by my ap daughter Sunshine Princess. Sir, you have no tact or diplomacy. She is eight years old. Commenting in giving constructive criticism is one thing. Telling someone, anyone their poem is plain shit is down right rude. Even if it was the truth, I think you can find a more mature way to phrase it. You claim you didn't know how young the writer was, well maybe you should have checked that out first before you let your thoughts get away from you.
Now I want you to think back to when you were eight and how would you feel if YOU received a comment like the one you just wrote to a poem you written. If you chose to express your honesty at least pick on someone who can take criticism. Where you able to take that type of criticism at eight years old? I don't think you could have. There are young poets who write on AP too. I see you are new to site and from Sweden. So I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt which is better than what others would have given you. May I strongly suggest you think before you type. You may delete this message or not, it doesn't matter to me. I have said my peace.
