Hi! My name is Steve, and I am new to this poetry website! I am a seventeen year old male residing in upstate New York, specifically in Churchville, a suburb of Rochester. I am first and foremost a musician, but have recently dabbled around with poetry in an effort to express myself in a different medium. Many of my poems have a song-like rhyme scheme, usually accompanied by some methodical system of meter. This is due to my roots in song writing, which will probably seem evident in my writing. My style of poetry is not exceptionally complex or difficult to understand. However it speaks of strong emotions which I think everyone can relate to in some way, shape, or poem. I look forward to reading some excellent poetry, to meeting some awesome poets, and to elicit some constructive reviews. I guess I shall be talking to whoever reads this later!
