I used to be known as 'necrogrrl' but I think it's about time for a change. A lot of my older writing can be found under that username but I shan't be posting it here because I do not think it is worth reading. Although it is still very important to me, I feel that any emotions I needed to express were done so uncreatively. I am now learning to express them with that little added flair which makes poetry worthwhile.
I find it hard to describe my style because it changes from one poem to the next. One thing I can say is that I enjoy playing around with the whole typographical thing. It is a style I have yet to master, but I thoroughly enjoy the added depth it lends a piece of writing when used properly.
Writing is a form of release for me. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to write for a while. I'm definitely suffering in the inspiration department! I'm hoping that my re-joining this site will remedy that.
I would post my short stories here but I don't think it is the right place. If anyone is interested, they can be found at paroxysmal.deviantart.com/ (=
"It is much more comfortable to be mad and know it, than to be sane and have one's doubts." (G. B. Burgin)
"Last words are for people who haven't said anything in life." (Karl Marx)
"Time does not heal, it accomodates." (Bob Geldof)
Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why, so is mankind.

He'd tied the knot so perfectly then
(died) that way,
at noon.

BellyButtonMint on April 20, 2005Thank you very much for all your comments on my work. Every one was much appreciated. You've raised some good points in critiquing my work. Hopefully I can give some of them a second look and make some modifications. I look forward to reading some more of your work now. Thanks again.
