~*¤*~Things you might not know about me (or care to, but here it is anyway)~*¤*~
~*~Child abuse & domestic abuse piss me off, along with those who judge victims of domestic abuse for 'putting up with it'...no one who has never lived it should judge those who have. That said, anyone who is living it I hope comes to realize they deserve much better.
As a survivor of both childhood & domestic abuse, I feel very strongly on these subjects & the need to speak out against them.
~*~People who do not realize mental illness is an actual disease (just like diabetes is) & not just something 'you need to get over' irritate me to no end. My children are both Bipolar, & believe me if they could just choose to 'get over it' they would in a heartbeat. Would you judge a child suffering from diabetes? No, so don't judge mine for being 'different'...they are still beautiful, highly intelligent & I wouldn't trade them for anything on earth.
~*~I don't write depressing poetry because I'm morbid &/or depressed on a regular basis...ok, maybe I am a little morbid...in a funny, off-the-wall way. I'm a complete goofball, love to be silly, & am told that I'm fun to be around (unless they're all lying lol). Writing IS a good way to work out that nasty little darkside & the demons from my past

~*~I have a toxic reaction to ant bites. Even one bite can make me sick for days.
~*~I'm allergic to mushrooms.
~*~I don't own a pc...the magic of this site is mine due to my Blackberry & the awesome BOLT mobile browser.
