I write in the pursuit for a little peace of mind, as I'm pretty sure anyone else does to an extent. It is a way to vent out emotions, explore oneself and this silly little world; try and gain some substance to the wisps of my thoughts.
My poetry, I find comes to represent myself in a sense; perhaps all poets, however I cannot speak for them. These cryptic scribbles are as elusive to catch as my own interpretation of the environment I've been subjected to, both on a personal level and at large. When it comes down to it, a poet's work symbolizes nothing more than his or her own confusion of this thing we call life.
And I'm a very confused person, and I'd have it no other way.
