I'm a former special education teacher/administrator. I'm a father of two daughters and a son the grandfather of five grandsons and the great grandfather of three great granddaughters. I'm an American Legion Chaplain and I have been writing poetry since I was in the second grade (1941). Though I minored in English, I've had no formal training in the art, but enjoy haikus, rhyming and free flow poetry.

rainyday woman on November 29, 2008OK! I just have to say that the pen-name intrigued me when I first saw it. I'm sure I'm wrong but the first thing I thought was, this is a Chiago Bears fan. After all "sweetness" ( Walter Payton) had the jursey # 34. So after I got to your page I could see I was right, I was wrong. Anyway welcome and I hope you have a good time.
