I've been away for a while but I'm sorta-kinda back to give it another whirl, as long as it stays fun and un-stressful.

I am an opinionated, cynical b@$tard.

I am an observant, altruistic sap.

I am manly.

I am a geek.

I have four children.

I like to drink beer and swear a lot...but the nuns frown upon it.

I don't fit in anywhere.

I am off my meds, and I'm doing much better now.

I love poetry. Writing it is a welcome outlet, and reading an especially choice nugget is a treat.

I detest social clubs, popularity contests, and people who turn into gibbering anus-monkeys when they don't hear what they want.

I've learned that when someone's done their best work and it still sucks...telling them so is just a ticket to getting yelled at by them. This is coincidentally very applicable on AllPoetry.

I don't plan on commenting on anyone's poetry unless I have nothing to share but heartfelt praise and ebullient joyfulness.

I apparently piss people off just by having my own opinion.
