First off, my real name is Nada which means Dew Drops in Arabic.

Second, I am a fantasy person... I love Unicorns, Dragons, Mermaids, Witches as well as fairies and gargoyles and anything else you can think of.  

Recently my poetry got published in our University magazines, so I am really happy. For two years now I have been the editor of the poetry magazine of the Department of English Language and Literature, Cairo University.

I have a Fantasy poetry list here, so feel free to dream, explore and enjoy! My imagination is wild and vivid, so I am sure you can find something you like. 

I love pictures.. So you will definitely find many of my poems based on pictures and occasionally other prompts provided by the different contests here.

I do not like these contests that limit your number of words.. but sometimes I am soooo bored I just enter them.

I  like writing stories... Fantasy as well.. and few short stories.. I have written 2 short stories in Arabic and I intend to write more

I still love watching cartoons. My favourites are: Spirit, the Stallion, Balto, Tom and Jerry, Donald Duck and his 3 cousins.

*I am currently reading a book by Naguib Mahfouz about the characters of the world of A Thousand and One Nights. It is about the characters at that time themselves, not just Shaherazad. It is a mixture of fantasy, morale and criticism. It is very interesting and though I have not finished reading it, I highly recommend it.

Suffer not the love you feel and cannot have,
Beat your wings no more upon a barren path!

Never a dull moment when she is around

A funny friend that sends me tons of funny jokes
