Aye up.
I am john, iam 18, i am from west yorkshire. I have been writing since i was about 13. My writing is usaully either anger fuelled yet poetic metal lyrics (e.g. nematocyst) , or love themed metaphorical epic stuff (e.g. Dissconnected)

I am not, one of those "poets" on AP who basically writes emo-style random prose about thier life,using no poetic techique at all and calls it poetry. I try.

I am in a techinical death/thrash metal band called mnemosyne, playing 7 string guitar, most of the lyrics you see on my page will probably have accompanying music.

I know it's a horrid cliche but my writing is influences by my favourite bands/musicians:

Also. Don't f**king go on about how god helps you write inspires you.... Seriuously... What the f**k makes you think he would activly help you write poetry, instead of helping people who are dying. How self centred can you get? Also, he doesn't exist, wouldn't you rather YOU took the credit for your work, rather than a fictional villan? Think about it.
