So much I could say, yet so little needs to be said. Words are powerful yet mean nothing at all...For me they can reveal the much deeper person or keep you hidden from the world to see. So much but so little to say: I'm just Me! I don't have a particular style of writing and for sure will never be "educated" in the fine art of poetry, nor do I choose to be. I write to express my feelings at a particular time and sometimes feel no need to say anything...

I am a mother to three teenagers and am currently in college pursing my degree. I plan to work with abused children, a subject I feel passionately about. I believe in helping others and try to make this world a better place to be, at least to the best of my ability.

I have "been there" and have a deeper appreciation for the life I live today. I try to see beauty in all things and enjoy life to the fullest each day. I value honesty and have low tolerance for lies and deceit. I strive on challenges and embrace the 'impossible'. My faith has sustained me through trials I have faced, and I believe "That which does not kill us, makes us stronger."

  • Timeless Wisdom : Hello :) on January 3
I enjoy your writing ...and all I have read so far is your author page ...I cannot wait to delve into your poetry.

PS> I have a poem that might strike your passion for raising awareness of abused children. It is called "Hell is For Children" inspired by the song by Pat Benetar

Just another stop to let you know once again you have given me love in the lost hopes of all things once hoped for. I love you darling for all the things you stand for. You are such an inspiration to me and the children and the rest of the world that can see who you are. Poetry can be put in words and as well can be put together. Poetry is everything we love and nothing we hate, for that that we once hated we have learned to love; loving it because it is away from us and despise it when it is near us. Resting when we breath and we take a breath when we realize our poetry is near our hearts. Our hearts are but tools used to give others a breath when they know not how and as long as we are breathing out our breath, there will be someone else who can breath it in.

I figure if I put I love you everywhere you look, then you will never forget.

Well, I have been trying to get in to read some of your writings but this new way they have on this site is just plain silly. I can click on a name and it automatically takes me to thier comment boxes instead of their page. Oh well, guess I will keep surfing?
