  Life is but a lesson, one we all must learn
From the heart's explosion, until it's final burn
No matter what the outcome, each day we still go on
Searching for that future, remembering what is gone
Life is but a lesson, and I, the living proof
The school of hard knocks taught me, that nothing is the truth

Words that have never rang more true. A lesson learned though once more...burned.

Come Valkyries

^                             Fair maiden
                         who seeks to find
          the    heroes.Passme                   not
            for my last breath * to                 release.
    Your mission my eyes        do               seebefore they
close. Fallen heroes you          so           wake with  yourkiss.
Come Valkyries over this field           of battle. Lead    these      souls
to  our Valhalla destiny.             Heroes have      fought withswords
    of metal. From this           dieing body release      andset mefree.
      Attendants of wise         Odin our Sky Father, I have      drunk from
          The Skaldic mead.  Privilegednow I write all that          may
      occur, as a poet before      my last drop of blood  I  bleed.
    Excellent in beauty with     armor that shines, your thoughts
are     always solemn and       deep. Take me upon your stallion
that     rides, to the hall          of the Val (slain) to sleep. I have
used     knowledge of           the Runes to protect my King Odin,
    mans    ruler and               benefactor. At Asgard my drinking
         horn do not neglect for I am one of his heroes of this war.
