Hello! :] Welcome to my humble e*abode. I am NexNuConcept.
Quick info on me:
The name is Charles, but everybody I know calls me Beaner.
I'm 20 years old and write music and poetry.
I live in Jamestown, NY, but my other 'home' is in Toronto, Ontario.
(I'm Quasi-Canadian)
I love life and believe in God and that the universe is unfolding as it should.
The reason for the name is simple, I represent, (according to my perspective), what I think writing has evolved into. I try to keep my poems as modern as possible. Don't get me wrong, older poetry is simply untouchable, but I do my part in keeping it forward.
As far as my writing is concerned, I try to have my own stylo. I like keeping things fresh and intriguing. The best way to explain it is total free-form inspired by Def Poetry Jam, accompanied with an almost completely natural motive to rhyme. I believe the internet has allowed me to express emotion in a way traditional writing couldn't. Most grammatical errors are often on purpose because of the way I use punctuation for emphasis. Not all errors, of course, are on purpose. I'll send all complaint e-mails and comments to my Internet Service Provider for allowing AIM to take control of my internal vocabulary.
My Emphasis Key:
*I've adapted my emphasis according to the average comprehension of internet slang, or as I like to call it, E-Slur. I figured it only fair to explain what I'm trying to convey when using this concept.
... - I use it in areas as a pause, like it's original intention
.. - A brief pause more than a ',' but less than '...'
-word- - Focus brought to that word, almost as if it were italicized
~word~ - A lighter emphasis on the word, or used as a literal sound
{{word}} - A more forthright emphasis on the word, used as a literal sound
Speaking 'Leet' - I like to incorporate every part of internet slang. Here are some words I.E. that contain characters that might confuse some:
LEET - 1337
HACKER - h4x0r
A LOT - Üb3r
Those examples are for all you computer nerds. ;]
If there is any part of a poem you do not understand, feel free to message me and I will gladly supply you with either an explanation, or a really good excuse. ;D
I hope you enjoy my writings, and thank you for your time!

tRying2bPoetic on December 5, 2005Hey thanks for the comment && applause i'm gonna read some of your poems! ttyl! bye

WordsArentEnough on December 1, 2005The rhyme scheme is choppy, and the poem is slightly...turbulent, I guess, for lack of a better word, because I was trying to capture some emotion I'm not really sure I understand. I guess it was meant to be representative of my own confusion. Sorry, I really appreciated the sincere comment, therefore I felt like I owed you some sort of explanation.
