Frogzter on December 8, 2005Every morning when I awake
I ask the Lord my cares to take,
I thank him for another day,
and showing me a better way.
I ask him to make my path straight,
Teach me love that I shall not hate,
that he alone I might obey,
letting nothing stand in my way.
I thank him for my new found friend,
opened her heart and let me in,
she will stand by me from now on,
to remind me that I'm not alone.
Add another stanza and try to make each line 8 syllables and we will have a perfect entry for the contest!
