My name is Dimitri Kondylis and I am of Greek origin. My writing ranges over a number of styles and topics. I write about how I feel, how certain things make me feel, and about what moulds me and who I am. I am a romantic at heart and will always try to find love in everything. I am single but have loved twice before, the feeling fills my world and Soul with joy. I am on the pathway of Spirituality. Thank you for visiting my page. May Angels guide your footsteps.

This is a poem of great power in my opinion:
INVICTUS
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever Gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not whined nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeoning of chance
My head is bloody but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the Master of my Fate:
I am the Captain of my Soul!
W.E. Henley

XxMissundastoodxX on October 14, 2006Yes Dimitri, I love so many of those quotes ( I see you even added a few of your own
) I think one of my favourite quotes would have to be "To the world you could be one person, but to one person you could be the world" and another quote I have seen on someone else's page here " Don't tell me the sky's the limit, when there are footprints on the moon" gives you something to think about doesn't it! Take care...
