My Old poems have vanished, and I'm starting anew.

A little about me! I'm a fun out going person. Currently attending college and rambling in a few different jobs. I currently do some concert stage set ups and work at an archeology lab.

While the sun transgresses in the everlasting ocean
Everything harmonically starts to slow down in motion
The light begins to dim until finally it is no more
Time has come for the mermaids to come ashore
Silently and gracefully they start to walk on land
First a bit uncomfortably, not knowing how to stand
But they adapted fast, wanting to be freed from water
Too bad they never knew they’d come to the slaughter
The sea will no longer be our prison they said
Regardless of any dangers that may lay ahead
Uninformed about the beasts who lived there
Mankind catched them vulnerable and unaware
Slain in a battle that was never theirs to begin with
We, humans, started to describe mermaids as a myth..

In arts of words and writing, it's natural to think
That intricate emotions can't be expressed in ink.
They can only be experienced, not pressed into a page
In words of joy, despair, envy, happiness, and rage.
Least commonly expressed must be the feeling of true love
To once transcend this emotion penned is nearly unheard of.
This conquered twice is to take ice and turn it into steam
The flame of passion raging, thawing a frozen dream.
This poem I write is more than trite when taken thought for word,
Contrasted with a loving touch and tender promises unheard.
To you I can't say much, but my offer I'll make free:
If you love me, I'll be something,
Something I hoped that I might be.

My bubble wrap world idea came from being so sheltered and from now having to mourn with my senior class for the loss of our peer. It really means a lot to me that you liked it.
