I haven't been doing the poetry thing for a year or so.
I've been busy with that thing called life. Remember that?
My early poems are typically raw and angst-ridden. I was angry, I was pissed off.
I was impressionable, in love, out of love, depressed. Anything.
Now I'm 22. I've grown up, got a life. Have a wonderful job, wonderful life.
I'm very metaphysical. In the sense that I will LIVE, not EXIST.
I'm over the anger, over all those trivial subjects.
My god, it is a GORGEOUS day today.
Yes, I still have that offbeat sense of humor. I'm still a strange guy.
But only because I KNOW that we're all not here forever.
Have fun, LIVE while you can.

I visit this page maybe once or twice every year - it's quite amusing reading all this angst. It reminds me of comments about Pearl Jam or Stephen King.
People say Pearl Jam are more interesting when they are writing more angsty- more angrier lyrics as opposed to their latest record "Backspacer".
People also say Stephen King was a more interesting writer when he was battling a drug and alcohol addiction as opposed to his more sober work.
People are strange.
