I started writing poetry at the age of 10 and have since been writing. What really encouraged me was my emotions cuz i felt there wasn't a place i could hide or put them without being found. I am now 19 and recently got out of an abusive relationship and now live with my grandmother here in Corpus Christi, though we're not rich and can't afford many things she does the best she can. And I wanna be a singer and also start a fund for grandmothers who have heart conditions and start a donation fund all dedicated to women who cannot stop loving enough like my grandmother and deserve to live so much longer. We constantly move from place to place and my poems and emotions and most of all my love for writing keep me going. I used to want to die until i discovered my talents and how beautiful they sound written on paper and how easy it is to express yourself to a sheet of lined paper because the paper listens and does not interupt it does not get jealous or envy the good things that have happened to you. My life is a poem slowly written but not quite finished still a few mistakes that need erasing but you can learn you can write better from that mistake my book is not quite that discriptive but it is full of love and many emotions bottled into one as are these here. These poems are my life my triumph and most of all my protection. Thank you for reading.

Mythtress on September 22, 2006Hi sweetie... If you want your poems read more, you should put one or more of them on the "Shameless" promotion thingee on the side of this page. It "costs" 20 points per time you put it in there, but you should get more reads that way. If you promise to comment on their poems if they comment on your poems you will get more takers. Hugs. Write on, poet.
