MY BOOK IS NOW OUT.......

A Walk in Verse is a collection of Poems I published in 2006 (Nairobi, Kenya)

I am grateful to all my friends who helped me to make my dream come true.

I love u all

I write what touches people's lives, my own, dreams fulfilled and unfulfilled, the wonder of nature.... It is so simple and straight foward, so is my very message.

I write

Nothing but the truth, I write.
Of course, I possess that right.

My pen shed much sorrow,
I heard from the lonely sparrow
On her dark and slow days,
When no sun showed her its rays.

I am a violet under moss.
Among humans my words count no loss.
Those who breathe their rich sweet fragranced air
I pray, they are my pair.

I spare no rod on the rough youth.
As I did on Ruth.
I became a beacon on a hill,
She fought to reach with goodwill.

My pen fell in love with nature
I paint and brushed with thoughts so mature.
Expressing to all God’s very joy.
Which we are welcome to enjoy

Nothing but the truth, I write.
Of course, I posses that right....

Sometimes i enjoy rythming. I found myself playing with it. My poems are not just a bunch of feelings but they are part of me.

I haven’t known you very long

what my heart feels can’t be wrong.

I’ve read the words you’ve written down

they’ve made me smile, they’ve made me frown.

You’ve soon become a part of me

you have a thirst to know, and see.

    Many questions you will ask

to answer them will be my task.

You call me ‘Mum’ that’s how I feel,

the joy it brings I can’t conceal.

You are my ‘Son’ but not by birth,

our caring love brings so much mirth.

I’ll always be here should you need

a hand to hold, a voice to heed.

You read my words and say I’m wise,

but I have lived and these blue eyes

have seen a lifetime full of love,

and with the grace of God above

I’ll impart my thoughts to you

as you grow and live your lifetime through

This is a poem to my son Nyasha, with love from his Mum. xxx
