i'm an artist, with words. they're my gift and my preoccupation, my love.
when i see things, my mind is a haze of allegories and metaphors.
i see things without hesitation, and i see to the core.
i don't see things as ugly. everything is imperfect,
but in the crease of a jaw,
the recession of a hairline,
the collapse of buildings & the degradation of societies throughout the world,
there is strength, all the same,
and there is beauty.
opportunity.
i'm waiting for a calling.
whatever it may be, i'm ready to embrace it.
be it foregoing college, wandering aimless and writing visions of summers spent amidst foreign regions,
i'll take it as my own,
into my vessels,
as the most fulfilling and worthy notion.
