Welcome to my egosystem! I'm a primary school teacher who's recently been transfered to outback Australia. Well, it's not too far outback but it's far enough away from my friends and the ocean to be a pain and a drain.
I was brought up a Catholic for 16 years, then was a fundamentalist Christian for 17 years. Now I'm an agnostic come Universalist of sorts (or Mothnostic). I love laughing at (and with) religion on my blog but am trying to kick that habit and stop venting out at various deities. I have an 'affection' for Christianity but I find the modern pentecostal variety fairly annoying. I'm sorry if that offends, and if it does, then well, you're being overly precious and probably needing your feathers ruffled.

I LOVE Television... no sense in hiding it. I'm a huge 'curb your enthusiasm' Fan and am equally passionate for the following sit-coms: The Office, Fawlty Towers, M*A*S*H, Black-Adder and Seinfeld. I honestly don't understand people that aren't equally excited about these shows. Of course I love my animated sit-coms and you know what they are.
My non-sitcom loves are Prison Break, 24, Buffy and Angel, Star Trek and LOST. I'm a superhero and sci-fi geek and my favourite movies are Sin City, The Princess Bride, and The Breakfast Club.
I teach some poetry to my young students but until recently I hardly ever wrote it. No longer a hypocrite... My favourite poet is Australian, "Michael Leunig" and I think he's just brilliant. His art, cartoons and poetry have been a part of me for over twenty years.
