Morgan LeFayShow poetry

I regret that I cannot invent some terribly eloquent description of myself; I am not, by nature, a person given to delusions of grandeur. In any case I suppose I must impart some bit of myself. I truly adore poetry and no matter how many times I sit through an English class that relegates it to the pit of state-inflicted standards, I seem to grow more and more attached to it. There is no message too small for such art, no image too base to be represented in the lilt of the written word; how can so many groan when informed that the time has come to study it?
Despite my obvious enthusiasm for what I consider the epitome of human expression, I find myself fascinated by the world of engineering and other more hands on art forms. Bits of wire, stone, and glass are my current mediums, but who knows what new plaything I'll discover in time.

P.S. I'd just like to say a little something about a good deal of my poetry:  it stands alone and has its own little story.  Many of these don't represent a true event in my life, but rather one i thought about.  The speaker in these poems is not always me-just someone like me-and the situations are theoretical.  Try thinking about them on their own without trying to find some personal statement in them.  Don't get me wrong, i'm there too, but that's not the point.

P.P.S. The poems that pop up here aren't my best, just my most recent.  Click on more and check some of the rest out, I know you'll enjoy them!
