Hi there, First off if you're reading this page, thanks for stopping by. I hope you like what i wrote, perhaps relate to my poetry and comment...good or bad.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
my poetry is my outlet
i'm not sad or depressed
yes i hurt sometimes
we all do...
You know those times
when you can't get anyone on the phone
your buddy list is empty
And for a reason you can't quite put your finger on...
there's a deep sorrow
one that makes you feel so utterly alone
and for just a second
you think that feeling will devour you
but...it doesn't
it passes and we move on
Cool thing is
i've never given up hope
Not in my darkest most soul wrenching moments
have i ever truly believed that i would never find what we all seek
someone who loves me and cherishes me as i do Him
Perhaps i haven't always found it for a long time
and it sucks large when it ends...
But dammit isn't it worth it while it lasts!
If i give up
shut down
not let anyone in
who loses?
The people who have hurt me in the past?
Nope..they are living thier lives oblivious to my pain
If i give up
they have won and i for one, refuse to let that happen
RRRROOOOAAAARRRR!!! (lol)
my favorite all time POEM BY Dylan Thomas
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though Wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not so gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Again, thanks for reading and always keep the flame of hope burning.
