Hello ladies & gentlemen,

The name’s Miranda. I’m seventeen and I’ve been writing for about 4 years now. Give or take a few. Poetry has always been my escape, my way of getting out all the things that I could never talk about. Of letting all the things escape that I one so closely guarded. In all of my poetry there is a distinct piece of me. Though some of the older and darker pieces don’t really describe my personality. I find that they describe that inner darkness most of us try so desperately to hide.


I’m your average girl from your average family. Haha. As if. My mom has finally gotten out of the shelter for abused woman and we are currently staying in an apartment. I look forward to when we move into our own house this June!!!.


I've graduated from Highschool and I'm currently working at Good Sam's. A local, and higher end nursing home. I enjoy my work, as a dietary aide, and look forward to working there for some time to come.


I guess you could say that I’m not average because of my “hard” life. But it’s always been like this so I consider it sort of mundane. You could also say I’m not average considering the way that I dress. I prefer a little darker style of dress. I love my corsets, and my black t-shirts, jeans, and black shoes. I could care less what close-minded people think. If they are going to judge me on my appearance then why should I try to please them? It obviously doesn’t matter about what’s inside right? [[[Wrong.]]] Oh did I fail to mention I also have an eyebrow ring which I LOVE. Thanks. : D



My two best friends are Ami and Miranda. They’ve been there for me through all of my shit and I appreciate them more than words could ever say. They are my soul mates of sort. When I feel like I can turn to no one else they are always there. So thanks guys, I love you and don’t doubt that I appreciate you.

[[Update]] Ami and I started dating December 17th and it was about freaking time! I love this girl so much. We've been best friends for four years and I look forward to spending a long, long time with her. Forever is too short a word. *Happy*

Oh Alie... I still can remember being called down to the office and then taken home. I remember my mother opening the door with tears rolling down her face and telling me you'd died. I remember the pain and the heartache. I remember the shock and the deep sense of loss. I also remember the happiness too. I remember talking to you every day on MSN and sexing you up in the Hallways at school. I remember playing Badminton in your backyard and putting makeup on together. I remember the concerts, the pictures, and the laughter. I love you baby, and I miss you so much. I can’t wait to see you again. It’s going to be a year on Jan 5, 2008 and just know that you’ve been missed every single second of every single day of the year.

Uhm. What can I really say about Ami besides the fact that she is indeed my best friend? Around her I can truly say I am 100% myself. And she still loves me despite all of that. I absolutely adore her and always look forward to being with her and just having fun. She’s a very un-selfish person and a sweetheart. I absolutely adore this girl. Even if she lives far away she still manages to keep in touch with me, and make me smile. Her beautiful and kindhearted comments on my work always bring a smile to my face, and a spring to my step. I feel like she is really one of the only people who can understand where I am coming from.
