my name is Gibson. Like the guitars but I'm a girl...
I'm a writer, I mean, I'm sure you've figured that out by now. If I wasn't I wouldn't be on here. I'm not sure where I would be, but it wouldn't be worth it.
I can be endearingly absentminded, an awful cook and unreasonably clumsy but I am also a good friend, a decent listener and an arrogant artist. I embody everything and nothing, I am a pretentious little girl. I embrace it, why not?
I have a tendency to be terribly destructive and a bit too open with my work. I have no secrets, but many things that aren't too pleasant are laid bare in the lines of my poetry. They twist and dance and spin within the words. Take what you like and leave the rest.
I used to have a bunch of my favorite bands and people up here but I've realized that all of that shifts around quite a bit. People change, tastes change and that's all fine and good. As much as I'd like to stop it I can't. Change is inevitable, not to be fatalistic or anything...
I'm in college, a freshman at SAIC... It's an art school and I got accepted for writing. Yey for me.
