MijiShow poetry

Right now I am:  I've been gone a long time, have I not?  Hm...  I don't think I'll get back to writing for a while until I have found a new inspiration...  I cut my hair though recently and donated it to 'Locks of Love'...  If you glimpse through my past works, you may find them crap, and I apologize, but I am not even a fairly good writer.

I am a crazy girl who writes with her emotions.  And yes, I really am disturbed, my mother tried to lock me up in an institution when I was 14 because I didn't think it right that she should abandon me for some guy she met a month ago to move around 1,000 miles away with my darling little sister, whom I traumatized because I told her I was putting her baby doll in foster care because she was a "bad mommy", or the time I told her the world was over-populated and we were all going to die from lack of food and space.  I come up with original ways to antagonize her, no?  Either way, I really love and miss my little sister and I always look forward to her annual visits.

I live with my father, stepmother, and grandparents.  I drive my stepmother nuts, too.  All my maternal relationships are...  doomed to failure.  I remember one time she told me not to put milk in my oatmeal because milk was expensive at the time, and then she claimed water tasted just the same.  So one day, she ordered me to make her chocolate milk, and then I recalled her saying, "Milk is expensive.  Use water, it tastes just the same".  So I mixed the syrup with water into a glass, and handed it to her.  She was furious, but I wasn't punished, because that was indeed what she said, but currently she has punished me because when I was washing her cats, she told me 'to keep my mouth shut', then she instructed me to talk to the cat in order to calm him down.  I then responded, "How I can I do so if you want my mouth shut?".  She then screamed and ranted, said I was a smart ass...  Crazy lady, stop contradicting yourself, and we wouldn't have any more problems.

I don't really "flow" with my poetry, because my emotions are always so...  turbulent.  In fact, they're pretty jagged.  I go insane over what I write, but it's always best to put it on paper, because if you speak what you're feeling, you can never take it back, while on paper you can alter or destroy them.

As for physical appearance, I am not the most attractive, but some do find me alluring, in a enigmatic way.  I have short, dark brown hair, brown eyes, sallow skin, and oval face with high cheekbones, medium build and I'm almost 5'2.  I have no more hope in growing, for I haven't raised an inch since 11 years.  Oh, and now I must mention my crooked teeth.  I don't think I would have a better feel in my appearance if my grandparents force me to get braces.  I am fine with my smile, and I do not wish to conform to some sort of beauty stand of rigid straightness and blinding whiteness.  Don't be a shrew and nag how I should be appreciative.  I don't want metal on my teeth if it not be necessary.

Some hobbies I enjoy doing are reading, writing, drawing, horseback riding, theatre, coming up with government conspiracy, and cooking.

My favorite band is the Dead Kennedys.  If you don't know who they are, you probably wouldn't like their punk ass anyway.  Some of my favorite songs are Rock DJ (Robbie Williams), Life Sentence (DK), As The World Falls Down (David Bowie - Labryinth), I am the Owl (DK), and Heaven's Kitchen (Bonnie Pink)

My favorite movies are Labryinth, The Producers, and A Simple Twist of Fate.  My favorite TV show is Daria...  yeah, if you see a picture of me or hear a voice clip of me sometime, you'll go, "OMG, you sound/look exactly like her"...  which is pretty sad.

Some of my favorite books would be "The Hunchback of Notredame", "The Truth About Forever", "Animal Farm" and of course, "The Lady in the Tower"...  Jean Plaidy and George Orwell are brilliant.  It was hilarious when I had to do a report on my favorite old/dead American Author...  It was then I found out most of them were either British or too young to be significant.  I landed up doing L. Frank Baum...  what an interesting presentation that was.  I started out with, "Was there really drug paraphenilia in The Wizard of Oz?".  I got a big lecture after that by my prissy English teacher.

I'm a very detailed, but abrupt person, as you can tell.  I may say too much, but it's not as if you actually know me.  I hope you enjoy my writings and come up with ways I can improve them.

I really appreciated the wonderful comments you left on one of my pieces. You are an extremely wonderful person. I read quite a few of your poems but couldn't seem to pick one that stood apart from the rest. They were all so amazing. It's unbelieveable how much talent you really have. I wish you well in everything your heart desires to do. I know that you were meant to succeed in this life. It's just this feeling I have that is really unexplainable. Good luck to you.

I'm sorry you didn't like the poem, but to each his own.Apparently I offended you with my fictional work.
But if my memory serves correct alot of good poems are written from a fictional view point, for example the classic"Paradise Lost"was obviously a work of fiction, yet people didn't go around telling him(John Milton) it wasn't good because it wasn't real. However again I apologize for offending you.

"and I'm almost 5'2. I have no more hope in growing."
Fear not what you won't become but rather focus on what you can.
Never be envious of others for all have their own sets of trials.
Just seek to be the best you that you can be and let the world
take it or leave it for that is the key to happiness...
