Mickie27Show poetry

Hi all.  I'm loving this site and finding lots of new writing styles I haven't tried before.  I've met lots of new friends and have 3 poets on my favourites list.  I also have just had my first contest about The Holocaust.  I have met some wierd people on the site, but by and by I have also met some wonderful friendly people who go out of their way to be nice to you.  I suppose it's like life really you come across some bad people, but then you come across some nice people.  Well...  If I had to describe my poetry style I would say it is emotional.  I try to write honestly about experiences that I have been through.  I also find this helps in a therapeutic way.  My cat has just died so I hope you will all bare with me as I go through this difficult time I won't be on AP as much.

Hi I wanted to bring you all an update.  I have had a lovely little daughter called Lauretta thanks to all those who have come by to congratulate me. You are all wonderful and a special thanks to Samplette for keeping everyone posted.  I'm sorry I haven't been here in ages it has been quite difficult.  I had preeclampsia and could have died as it was getting so serious that my little darling girl had to be born to this world early, but she is home now and doing really well and so am I.  I thank you all for your patience and blessings.  I will try my best to keep you updated, but don't know what is happening from one day to the next at the moment.

At last I am an AP mum!  My daughter is called Chelsea go check out her page! allpoetry.com/poets/FieryAura

Thanks for reading my poem. I'm glad that you liked it. The inspiration is from a very close friend that has been abused and betrayed and taken advantage of by too many men in her life. If only she could find some one that she could truely love and trust. I will always be there for her in anyway that I can.
