About Me:
I do things, my way, in my style, in my time.

Sometimes I will open wide the window a bit to allow you a peek inside, though it is when I am most vulnerable to you and it's a daunting thing to be so revealed. Often there is darkness there, it is a stark, tangible thing. It is a thing at times, a comfort. It is that very same darkness that gently pushes me towards light, even when its fractured. I don't deny its presence. It is embraced. Invited. It is darkness within me that makes me a force to reckon with in a world that might have otherwise left me on its sidewalk.

I am dark. A story of survival. A quick smile, a hard tear. I am a celebration of what it is to feel. And what it is to be so thoroughly alive.

My life has taken me on several splendid journeys since, I first joined AP. I regret, I haven't had much time to write here nor comment. I've loved my time visiting here when I can. Thank you all for being a part of this wonderful community.

I wish to all who walk in the grayness of the poets realm, love & peace. May, the Gods stand between you, and all the dark places you may walk in this life.

I joke that I have good vision, especially at night because when I was younger I ate a lot of raw carrots. My mom often shared stories of how my skin turned orange at times because of it. The truth, however is more likely because I've lived for so long in the darkness my eyes have simply adjusted to it.

Met in shadow we write in dawns and dusks.
