Someone once gave me this poem that I am about to share. I always found it fasinating that she stayed up half the night looking at poetry because she hated it. I wish I would've got her back then...when I had the chance. I truly believe there is one person out there that we are meant to be with above anyone else. One person that was made for us to love. One person that we give our whole hearts to. What we don't take into consideration is that maybe it won't work out with you and that person. Maybe they are "the one" but you won't have a happy ever after. You will spend every second of everyday whether you are alone or married missing that person because they completed your emptiness.
I Loved You, And I guess you loved me too...
When we first were together, I thought I trusted you...
Now, well...I don't know, I feel something new
I remember when we would go bowling together
or when we took our showers together, and when we would last forever...
Now I'm in my bed alone, just crying. Wishing I was dieing...
But what was it? Why didn't you ever tell me???
I thought you trusted me, because you told me that you loved me!!!
Did our love change because of trust???
or because we never learned to trust??
One night you came, and you were acting weird
And when I asked what was wrong, you would just turn and disappear
Trust? Trust? Trust? Question marks are the only thing that come to mind.
Until that night!
Raining, Thunder, windy. It was a very ugly day
But when I got home I saw something beyond ugly
I saw you lying on the floor with blood coming down your head
And the gun you had been holding pressing down on your chest
Until I saw that note on your neck saying...
I thought I trusted you, but did you ever trust me?
Thinking is not the same as knowing...
I whispered to myself silently, saying, "Yes, I did trust you..."
