MelodiousDreamingShow poetry

The world, it spins on pins
that prick at my nauseousness,
and I’ve wandered
(or maybe wondered)
for far too long...

-`~-`~-`~-`~-

The heat steals my breath away,
and yet a chill runs through my skin
pricking me with the thought of you.

In the night I toss and turn
with overplayed memories
stuck on this dreadful repeat,
but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

To forget would sting like bees
and leave me to myself

I’m far too lonely for that.

-`~*-`~*-`~*-`~*-`~*-

I am consumed by this place,
by this odor of crooked corpses,
I want to run and find I’m sleeping by the sea
merely lost in the fog of a monsters dreams.

...

Nothing’s ever that simple,
my mind has over processed
and left me with sickening truths,
I find the world is in recession.

~The whole world is not in a conspiracy to make you miserable~

~It is not God's job to make the rules of physics, economics, or anything else, not apply to you~

~Bad things will happen because they happen, how we respond is determined by whom we trust the most~

"Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" Job 2:10b NIV

Remember His promises.
Remember His faithfulness.
Remember He is the center of the Universe, not you.
Remember He knows what you cannot yet know or understand.
