My poetry style is mostly dark, I find it difficult to write happy poetry. Mostly because I believe that the feeling of sadness is a greater one than that of happiness. In my opinion it takes a great deal of work to express happiness in words, rather than in your actions. However, I do have a couple of happy poems, mostly about love...but everything else is about a topic that is more in depth. Anyway, here's a little about me. My name is Laura and i'm 21. I love orange cats, and I am currently in college attempting to become a psychologist. However, writing will always be my passion. I hope you enjoy my poetry...I've been on this site for almost 6 years now, and I find it extremely invigorating to go back to poems I wrote when I was sixteen, and see how much my writing style has changed.
