I was bored, so I decided to write more on my page!

My real name is contradictory to myself, so you may all call me Medea. I am 19 years old, soon to be 20. I write a lot of dark poetry, but I'm not really all that "depressed" or whatever. Being a gemini, I have unpredictable mood swings that I am unable to control, but I find it fun to see the reactions of others when I go from happy, to angry, to sad, to childish, and then to bored in less than 10 minutes!

My past was rough, but everyone goes through tough times at some point and we all have to just move on and live life to the fullest. I have enough friends to keep me happy and enough love from my family, so I'm content. Now all I need is to get through college, get a good job, and have a family of my own and I will be complete!... if I don't get too bored along the way... haha!

I have a very short attention span, so my mind wanders a lot. Unless it catches my interest, I won't bother with it. I like poetry (duh), music (it's part of my soul!), astrology, art, video games (a hobby/passtime), and the bizarre (Supernatural, abnoraml stuff that most sane people would rather not look into).

I like to be different and unpredictable, but I'm not really a social person. I prefer to blend in and be ignored (especially by strangers). I'm always wary toward new people, but I can be friendly and generous when I see that they are trustworthy.

I have 3 friends that I keep close to me. Sometimes I think I might be suffocating them! I can be overprotective and (maybe) overbearing, but only to the people that I really know.

Music: rock, metal, alternative, electronica, industrial, techno, euro, and I like a few asian bands too. I ablsolutely HATE (most) country, rap, and american pop.

Poetry: I like imagery and riddles that make me think about their true meanings. Dark, fantasy, weird, horror, and spiritual are my favorite kinds of poetry.

Art: My favorite kinds of art are modern, spiritual, and dark. I like to try and figure out the hidden meaning behind the art and what the artist was thinking/feeling while the piece was made.
