Many blessings to you!
If you let your mind dwell on ghosts, you’ll become a ghost yourself. If you fix your mind on God, your life will be filled with God. Now – which are you going to choose?
– Sri Ramakrishna

I have learned silence from the talkative, tolerance from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind; yet strange, I am ungrateful to those teachers. Kahlil Gibran
Mahatma Gandhi said, "Be the change you want to see."
If I want love and peace on earth, it must begin with me.
Anger is contagious if I let it steal my mind;
of the three important things, all of them are: Be kind.
It is not easy to find happiness in ourselves, and it is not possible to find it elsewhere. -- Agnes Repplier
Kahlil Gibran wrote in The Prophet: "Of the good in you I can speak, but not of the evil. For what is evil but good tortured by its own hunger and thirst?"
Remember: "In Forgiveness Lies the Stoppage of the Wheel of Karma."
Everything flows from forgiveness. It is the central ingredient that can end all suffering in the manifest world. The point at which your progress stops can be measured as the point at which your forgiveness stops. David Wilcock
When I consider the universe and all that is in it, I realize my insignificance.
Then someone asks "What's for lunch?" and puts things in perspective again.

Poems I'm focused on
-
The darker the better, that's what I say,
its bitterness suits my mood.19 lines, 17 comments, October 3. In Thoughts -
The surface is the splash of troubled waters,
swells and waves and eddies roil its face; -
We didn't notice it at first,
when seasons got so dry, -
In maple shade the cooling breeze
that tentatively strokes the brow -
Surviving trouble brings a host of thoughts,
important wisdom useful for one's friends, -
When she transformed, it was noted by none.
-
The world is seeking everywhere for secrets giving wealth
and never finding how the goal is won; -
-
-
On New Year's Eve we'll open doors
to mark the midnight chime, -
The waters flow, and softly flow away,
clouds and rain, wells and fountains, -
The hardness of the sky upon that day
will be as rubies, that day you will grieve -
a warm half moon winks in the eastern sky / the clouds of afternoon have left it clear
-
My brother had no children, he was killed
among the thousands shot at Babyn Yar.
My Poetry
-
Long ago when we were young,
believing all the songs we sang, -
The street is crowded with honking taxis,
run down trucks and pedestrians -- -
The sky is blue, the lawns are smooth and green,
a night-time rain has freshened all the flowers.

catz : Good Morning :) on October 10Dear Margaret, I thought I'd stop in and say good morning. Well, it's a little late for that in Cairo but here in Phoenix it's just after 6 AM.
I like your new face picture, you look great and the shorter hair becomes you
Our weather here is finally cooled down a lot, especially the nights. I was even a little cold when I got up this morning... feels so good.
Now I'm off to read some more of your wonderful poetry. Have a great day, Margaret
Love and blessings,

myrataal : Hallo dear Margaret! on April 23If you were still here, we would have been immersed in lulled conversation, an island in motion, drifting towards the twilight and tranquility of yet another busy day of discovery, of laughing faces and of a single tear, wiped away by a shawl ...
The Southern Cape is restful in soft rain and gray skies and I still running in remnants of buzzing days.

How are you, Fred and Geoffrey? I miss you!
Love
Myra
