The Jade Butterfly
ƸǏƷ
Fly away to somewhere
else, to some unknown place.
I hear the fluttery wings of
The jade Butterfly,It's glides
through the air so peaceful.
Through the misty mornings
sipping the tasty
honeysuckle from the vines.
The jade butterfly floats high
above the trees into the
air where no-one can touch it.
It breathes in the clean freshness
as it sits on billowy clouds of white.
It taunts at me to touch it, feel it,
And grab at it, For i want to have
this Butterfly within my grasp.
It floats towards me flapping it's
glittery wings in my face i reach out
as it lands on my hand.
The tiny legs tickle as it walks about.
The beauty of the jade and emerald colors
fascinate me as i am mesmerized.
My eyes become affixed to this wonderful
thing, as it seems to be amused with the
silver ring on my finger.
I think"I have got to have this added to
my collection"
I grab the Jade Butterfly by it's wings
and it looks at me as if it wanted
to cry out" Every time I try to fly, I fall,
without my wings i feel so small"

ʚiɞ Butterflies weight about as much as two rose petals.
ʚiɞ Adult butterflies do not grow with age.
ʚiɞ Butterflies can see red,green,and yellow.
ʚiɞ The top Butterfly speed is 12 miles per hour.
ʚiɞ Butterflies don't have mouths that allow them to bite or chew.
ʚiɞ The wings of butterflies are actually transparent.
ʚiɞ Female butterflies usually are bigger and live longer than male butterflies.
ʚiɞ A butterfly has compound eyes: each eye is made up of about 6,000 tiny parts called lenses, which let in light.
ʚiɞ Butterflies cant hear, but they can feel vibrations.
ʚiɞ Butterflies can't fly unless thier body temp is less than 86 degrees.
ʚiɞ The female produces a scent that a male can smell a mile away.
ʚiɞ Their normal life span is 2 to 4 weeks.
ʚiɞ They are cold blooded.
