I LOVE to write and was introduced to this site by my sister "Heismysong."  She is too shy to put herself  up but not me LOL!!!






My name is Rebekah Kryger but I use my favorite pen name Mamabekaboo on here.  

Can you guess where I live!


I am married to the most wonderful man in all of the world. He just happens to also be my Pastor!! 

 We have two beautiful children and would like to have more.  This picture is on our wedding day (obviously) which also happened to be the day that area got like 30 inches of snow... We were used to snow being from Michigan but not all at once ON MY WEDDING DAY!!!






This is ME!

This is our kids during our blizzard like conditions in March.  We got 9 inches!! That might not sound like much to some people but considering that is how much we got for the last two years combined in Southwest Kansas, it was a doozy for this area!!










Some of my work is about loss of a child or sad like that because I have had two miscarriages.




I love this picture!  I don't even know where it came from but I will gladly give that person credit if I knew.






but I also like to write humerous and inspirational stuff. 



Really I just write whatever.

















My life revolves around my Christian walk.  If I am not in God's will for my life then I am wrong.  God has used many many hard things to help me to trust and have faith in him more.  Feel free to ask me any questions about any of my poems.

Okay have you ever had a night where you could not sleep and counting sheep just didn't cut it.  TRY PRAYING it always works.

I love pets so I figured I might throw some pics of my pets on here too.

 



This is Snoopy!! He is 5 years old!!! My husband insisted on calling him Snoopy since he was part Beagle... ironically the other part was Rottweiler... LOL 

This is Marmaduke!!!  We call her Marmie... But she really does think she is as big as Marmaduke the cartoon dog.  Marmie is 3.
Marmie's parents were full-blooded... Her mom was a Mini Snauzer and her dad was a Manchester.







Brudder and Sissy are our very good mousing cats...  Lets just say we went through seven hamsters LOL.  *Hamsters are no longer allowed in our home.*  The Gray is Brudder, obviously boy, and a big lover boy.  The White and gray is Sissy... She is a bit moody like any woman.  LOL.  They are 4 years old.

Time For Me

Time For Me



Sitting with my coffee,
my bunny slippers,
and my robe
all of me glowing
in front of the computer.
Fresh toothpicks
to hold open my eyes,
I search for the screen
that I know is right
before me.

I have left my curlers in
since I have no appointments
this morning-that I recall.
Putting my coffee down,
I lie back on my chair
with the one broken wheel
and allow my head and hands
to fall down toward the floor.

This is a good place for me.
I am comfortable and suddenly
very much at peace.
Enjoying this moment is such bliss,
but I suddenly hear
a knock on the door
as twelve women come in
cackling like a bunch of hens.

OH NO!!!  It's my Church group!  
I made the appointment,
but I could swear
it was for tomorrow!  

Attempting to jump up,
I fell back with the chair,
my bunny slippers'
eyes wide open
fearing for their lives,
and two curlers fly right out
of my hair!  

As I lie on the floor,
all twelve women stare down
at me in utter amazement.
One asks, "Where did you get
those adorable pajamas?"

I will never have another
embarrassing moment in my life
for I have reached my pentacle
with this one!

A Godly Woman Named Beka

Rebekah Rankin was her name
But then Beka Kryger she became
For a Godly man came along
Their love was so very strong
Beka is a friend to those in need
For by God’s grace she has been freed
She always knows just what to say
To be the one to make your day

A stay-at-home mom, Beka is
Helping her kids study for the quiz
Bobby and Baby must be really great
For their parents are leading them straight

What more can I say about this woman?
She is apart of God’s amazing plan
Spreading His word across the land
For the truth in Him will always stand
