Hello,
Thanks for dropping by for a peek at my page! Like all of us, I am different things to different people.... Firstly I am Chrissie, a Wife/Mother, Daughter, Auntie, Niece, Friend etc. I am very lucky to have a close, loving family, with wonderful (now grown up) children. My daughter (Fay) is Knocklegoggin, here at allpoetry. Her words (like her) are amazing! It's Fay that asked me to join her here on AP - so a big THANK YOU FAY for all the very happy hours I have spent on here.

I love reading, writing, drawing, meditating, playing the accordian, juggling, balloon twisting, performing magic and making people smile! I am a Healer and also a Reiki Master (along with my wonderful husband, Steve).

My favourite music is anything by James or Tim Booth, Raining Pleasure ( a wonderful Greek band that you should check out at www.rainingpleasure.gr/ Nightwish, Enya, Enigma, Loreena McKennit, Limp Bizkit, Muze and many more, including lots of Reggae, especially Bob Marley, UB40 and Aswad (especially 'Shine').

At work I have been many things over the years - shop assistant, telephonist, office worker, bar-maid, cleaner, photographer (with my best mate, Jayne), hospital receptionist, personal carer, I build computers, and have just finished managing a magic shop and performing in childrens magic shows!
That's me in the picture - spellcasting wings on rabbits (shame on me!)

I have been Vegetarian since the age of 15, and Vegan for around 12 years, because I believe that it is not our right to inflict cruelty and suffering on any living being, just because we want to (think about it!).

Life hasn't always been easy, and we have come through some horrendous events over the years, but we have held on, weathered our storms and are still smiling!

I think that in the past I tended to write more poetry during stressful times, it was like a safety valve, but now I write when I am happy too!
