Magdalene14Show poetry

I love to rhyme and rhythm. I love to use creativity both in subject matter and the way in which I express these topics. If my poem doesn't say anything to you or make you feel something, tug at your brain or your heart in some way, then that poem didn't do what it was supposed to do. I also like to think that some of my poetry is inspirational because I've been to hell and back on numerous occasions. Now I simply write about it hahaha and let's never forget heaven, because i want you to get a good nice g limpse of it t hrough some of my better works without sounding like an egotist, this is my realm and my comfort zone. i have been a journalist in the past. I have a book out by authorHouse entitled Magdalene's Diary. Poetry is basically using minimal words to express quite a lot. it is challenging and exciting to write. But if you don't have a good background in the old classics, it will be more difficult to get going , so I encourage would-be authors and poets to consult the classics there are so many there is Steinbeck, there is Hemmingway, there is Dostoevsky, there is Voltaire, there is Shakespeare, a rough go i know, there is Bronte sisters and even Steven King if you want him...I could go on forever...Sommerset Maugham and Salinger and Kahlil Gibran...now I'm stopping...where you might want to start!! Blessings always to all of you, Love magdalene14
