Hails!
I'll start off with my interests :
Obviously poetry, but music is where my heart really dwells. I write it, create it, play it and listen to it very very often.
FAVORITE BANDS: Darkthrone, Bathory, Mayhem, Summoning, Opeth, Immortal, Emperor (basically anything first or second wave BM) I've got a keen interest in gothic music these days, but what i consider gothic might not be acceptable to some, so here goes: David Bowie (mainly Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and stuff like STARMAN, Rebel rebel), Billy Idol, Bauhaus, the Cure, Syd Barrett( SYD would be a goth if the word existed then). I'm also a fan of classical stuff and mainly Bach.
My all time Favourite Album:
"The Madcap Laughs" Syd Barrett 1970
"Dance-music--the lilting sort that runs on without a stop--but
with words in it, too--it passes into words and out of them
again--I catch them at intervals--then it is dance-music once
more" ----Excerpt from "the Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame
Other random things I like:
WEt grass
Hot baths
Shiny things

More about me:
I'm From Kingston, Ontario I grew up in the country, a bit of a loner by choice. I went to University in Toronto, and I'm planning on eventually going back to school to get a master's in Museum studies.
I'm a very easy going person who doesn't get to have as much fun as I'd really like to. I'm not overly religious, although I do believe in something; I tend toward more majestic things but I guess I do believe in God, angels, Demons, etc.
As far as writing goes, as a songwriter I try to create imagery without the burden of heavy meanings..I write about dark place, spaces, times. I find my inspiration from fantasy and ancient history. I like writting with imagery from medieval sources.
As a poet I tend toward writing about feelings, and whimsical things, I don't like to write about philosophical subjects nor do I try to grasp eternal truths, we'll all find out someday anyways...I just like to reflect on what is here and now.
As far as commenting goes I really like in depth looks at my works, and If you take the time to do it, I surely will do the same for you.

The claustrophobic white washed walls31 lines, 1 comment, September 7 -
Remember the lines from the white hallway. Very colorful they were;
one was red firebrick, brique feu in French, and one olivedrab -
So wonderful, strange and new
Glad to come, I gave away my old shoes -
Flax meadows squeak, still reeds
Languishing willows creek -
I'm just a person,
I'm rusted old chains, -
There are no Stars
If I could see you, I’d just tell you what to do

as for the beatles they're all alright, but I flipped open some sort of biographical book some years ago and it did it for me.
