I still consider myself to be a beginner, as I have had no formal schooling in poetry. My writing started as a way of communicating my thoughts and feelings, and I just can't seem to put the pen down! I am disabled due to a auto accident, and this allows me the time to create. I'm still learning about poetry, and have no favorite style yet.

I live in Northeastern Colorado. I'm married with 5 kids and 14 grandkids, a quarter horse paint we affectionately call "Frankenfilly" (her real name is "Dancing Feather" ), a Doberman named Imzadi (but we call her "Butt-Girl ~ When that stub-tail wiggles, the whole butt goes! )...and nope, mom's not a Star Trek freak...hehehehe!), 2 hairball cats named "Oreo," and "Frodo Beggins, and a Wascally Wabbit" named "Smudge."

I look forward to honest help and hope to learn more from this site. I also enjoy reading all your work as well. It enriches my day every time I visit you all, and I have learned so much from you. Thanks!!





~ On September 16, 2005, we lost our sweet dobie "Comet." She passed on, leaving us with the precious gift of a daughter, "Imzadi," who is now 7 years old. We shall miss you, Comet.
