           My name is Ryan Beal, But you can call me anything you want as long as it doesn't offend me. I'm 18 years young, I'm single, Have been for a long time but being single has it's perks if you know what I mean. I find people who have a sense of humor - those are the people who can really live life, they can look at the world at a diffrent focus and see something other people can't. I think we should really live our lives to the fullest, whats wrong with pot (never used it) or alcohol?

 

           I have a small obsession with watching people - now before you judge it's not in a peeping tom type of way. When you almost study how a person carries themselves - how they act when they are not being watched you see how people really are, just like the eyes a persons personality are the window to the soul. If someone is really quiet or closed in, then maybe theres problems at home or something else or maybe it's how they are and there's nothing to worry about. The way people carry themselves - the air so to speak that they ride on, or the ego that is in their head, allows people to make first impressions, Prada and Coach bags or the latest in clothing from American Eagle do not do that - some people will deny that but they are lying, the way we present ourselves, our attitudes, wether or not were nervous or self confident make all the difference. I'll sometimes sit by myself in the lunch room just to listen to how people interact with other people, wether or not they swear or speak like they actually know the english language. Or I'll stand by my window and see how people walk down the sidewalk, some with cell phones glued to the ears, others with ciggarettes in there mouths, or with ipod headphones in their ears, or nothing at all. Every person has a story to tell, no one has the right to judge unless they know what a person was going through.

         Sammie - I've know you for alot time since like 7th grade. I wish i could hangout with you more but things always come up. Hope everything works out good in Bangor for you. GET A JOB!!! haha just kidding.

         Dustin - I never get to hang out with you any more which sucks we used to be good friends in middle school,Hope evrything in the air force works out good for you I still need to get those fucking games back to you haha.
         Hilary! - A.K.A. the short one who stalks me =]. With the stuff that has happened I glad your still my friend, and a damn good one at that. Though you still fail at Guitar Hero, well guitar in general, besides yankee doodle=]. Your is such a good poet she also one of the many awesome friends I have met here on ALLpoetry. For what it is worth I truly am sorry things happened the way they did. 

(because of the poeple above and below this sentence i am now a huge johhny depp fan.....I never thought I would ever type that. Though I still think his role in willy wonka and the chocolate factory, is just a tad bit strange but whatever)

          Allie-cat! - Damn where to start; At this point in my life, you are my closest friend, you mean so much to me. You help me with out even trying to, just talking to you helps with inner conflict. You the most important person in my life, I love you so much, I always have and I always will. At one point i though I had moved on in my life, I realize now, it's not possible for me to do that. Your just as much of a part of me, as I am of you. Removing one will irreparably kill the other, at least it would for me. Sound familiar? What ever happens at this point it doesn't matter, your my life, every thought and feeling. i'll always be there for you, always.

          I'm a huge fan of music, I like basically all types besides some classical and some jazz. For me music is an art form: it's boundaries need to be known but can be pushed. Just like a sculpter with clay. I've heard some bands that have absolutely blown my mind as far as what they can do sonically, like DragonForce. All of the little sounds Herman Li and Sam Totman can do it's incredible, but behind that sometimes epic sound there is nothing - no emotion, it's just sweeping, tapping, speed picking over and over again. I like more soulful guitar playing like Slash or Santana. If you haven't heard the opening or the guitar solo for the song "Sweet Child of Mine" you haven't lived yet - the emotion in just a few notes in incredable.

          I think that all types of music require talent to a certain degree. I like rap but I think it is at the lowest amount of talent, theres nothing to it but a beat, and the vocals over it. First and foremost I consider Slipknot to be the heaviest metal band out there - I don't care if you disagree, I really don't. There whole sound and the edginess to the music in unheard of. I think the part of the band that gives them the edginess are thier extra percussionist Chris Fehn and Clown. They are the ones of give them the almost evil and demonic sound - most notable in songs: "The Blister Exists","(sic)", "This Cold Black", "Prosthetics", "Scissors" and plenty of other songs.

          Poetry is my release, like music it is an art form - though more tangible then music. I'm kind of picky with what I like for poetry. Like most guys I like some erotica, but you would find it surprising that girls like it just as much as we do, that and there minds are in the gutter as much as ours is, be more observant and you'll see it too. When I first started writing, I wrote depressing/dark writes, I try to avoid it now but if I go back to it, I try to not make it clique. I'll like and most likely cry if I find a love poem that is really close to how I feel at the moment or I have felt. I try to stay away from dialoge now - I used to use it alot more but it looks kind of tacky, unless it is done the right way. I really like rhyming poetry, but I can't do it at all I have tried trust me it just didn't come out - the muse wasn't flowing.I don't think any one type of poetry is cligue, just how the author executes it.
